About the soundtrack
Mouse Knight tells the story of a cursed mouse-knight who sets out to find the king responsible for his curse and take revenge. The project plays on a simple but effective contrast: a tiny, almost fragile hero thrown into a medieval world far bigger than himself. This difference in scale gives the adventure its main tone, somewhere between heroic tale, fantasy threat, and the humor of a small character who refuses to be crushed by his own destiny.
This score was written to feel like a tiny illustrated storybook: lutes and flutes keep the medieval surface, while tape-saturated drums and detuned synths give the world its slightly off-kilter, comic personality. Each track maps to a different emotional station of the adventure, from the opening fable to the final credit roll.
