A music-to-picture commission
In 2022, Helena Rubinstein commissioned original music from me for the commercial film The Box. My role covers the musical composition: the film, its images, and its edit remain the work of the brand and its production team.
The format demands instantly legible writing. The music must follow the progression of a short edit, support the product's identity, and build continuity without turning the film into a standalone musical showcase.
A collaboration distinct from PX50
This page stays separate from Helena Rubinstein: PX50 because the two commissions prove different things. The Box is synchronization and music-to-picture composition work. PX50 is a fifteen-minute suite written for an event, delivered in two weeks and then integrated into FMOD.
